Switchy is local-first. No data ever leaves your devices. There are no accounts, no cloud services, and no analytics.
Switchy is a macOS menu bar app that switches Apple Magic accessories (Keyboard, Trackpad, Mouse) between Macs on your local network. All communication happens directly between your Macs over your local network using Bonjour discovery and Bluetooth.
None. Switchy does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. The app runs entirely on your Mac with no external network connections beyond your local network.
Switchy does not include any analytics, crash reporting, or tracking frameworks. The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, our payment provider. LemonSqueezy handles all payment information. We do not have access to your full payment details. Please refer to LemonSqueezy's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.
Switchy checks for updates via a publicly hosted appcast file. This check sends a standard HTTPS request that may include your IP address in server logs, as with any web request. No personal information is included in these requests.
